Week After Christmas, Now What Do We Do?!

If you follow us on social media, you may have already seen these preschool activities.

But with a week home after the holidays, activities may be needed to keep us all sane!

The Kids are Still Off From School, Now What Do We Do?!

Practice Nonstandard Measurement.

Begin by collecting shoes, cubes, or any object that you can line up to measure length.
Have you tried this? What form of nonstandard measurement have you used?

Mix Primary Paint Colors with Water.

Create Boxes Under Familiar Words.

Build name recognition with stamps and creating boxes for the letters below the names. Match the stamped name with a picture.

Switch Up Your Playdoh.

I am sure your preschoolers received plenty of new toys. However, if they are already done playing with them, pull out some organic loose parts to stamp with playdoh.

Practice Prewriting Skills By Tracing Lines.

Did you know that strengthening fine motor muscles will help with holding a pencil and writing?

Send Your Preschooler Outside.

Although this one may be obvious, sometimes I too need a little push when the weather isn't perfect. Head outdoors with them, and enjoy the fresh air.
