Little Fingers Friday - Toddler Literature

Little Fingers Friday - Toddler Literature

These seven classics never seem to disappoint!

There is beginning to be a difference between which books my 13 month toddler is drawn to, and which books my 2 1/2 yea old preschooler is interested in.

I love being introduced to new books and understanding which books cater to the different phases of childhood. It is important to grow your library as your toddler shows more interest in details and story line.

Did you know that by Kindergarten, children will be asked to recognize common types of texts (e.g., storybooks, poems)? Reading a variety of stories at an early age is a fantastic way to begin working on this skill.

Here, I want to share with you which books are on our top reading list. They are not the latest and greatest. They are just simply, in my opinion, the greatest.

Do you have any of these in your library? Which ones are your favorite?
