Why Play Memory Games?
Memory games improve short-term memory and increase speed recognition skills. They also improve concentration, increase attention, and enhance cognitive skills.
By Kindergarten, children will be asked to describe familiar people, places, things, and events and, with prompting and support, provide additional detail. This is an excellent way to practice attention to detail!

If you are anything like me, you take the same picture, 5 (okay, maybe 50) times to get the perfect photo.
Use some of these look-alike photos to pay close attention to detail. Sometimes a simple change in facial expression can really change the entire picture.
Tips on How To Play with Younger Preschoolers:
Allow your preschooler to look at all photos face up before flipping them over.
Once your preschooler gets the hang of the game, you can begin by turning them over from the start.
