My Best Advice Before Baby Arrives

My Best Advice Before Baby Arrives

Whether it is your first, second, or third baby, many of us hear unsolicited words of wisdom from friends and family:

- "Sleep when the baby sleeps!"

- "Ask for helpl!"

- "WEAR your baby!"

- "Go on a Babymoom!"

But how many times do we hear,

 "Spend time with your mom."?

For this post, I was fortunate to team up with PinkBlush. PinkBlush clothing is designed specifically with you, the modern mother in mind. They provide looks that are stylish, trendy but most of all affordable. Most importantly, they make clothing that can help all woman (pregnant or not) feel beautiful. And that is exactly how I felt on my date with my mom. This post is sponsored by Pink Blush, and all of my own opinions are expressed. Before this post I have ordered many items from Pink Blush because I just love the comfort, style and quality!

So Why Spend Time with Mom before the new baby arrives?

Because mama, you are going to be tired.

Time alone comes few and far between all the other responsibilities that life after babies brings, and sometimes you let time spent with loved ones pass you by.

For me, I spend most of my time with two high energy preschoolers and am pregnant with another boy on the way.

Sadly, time with my mom usually involves drop off and pick up.

I come in, chat for 5 minutes, and am off to do everything needed to be done before making it back by the time allotted. Time spent alone with my mom is pretty minimal.

So What Can You Do?

  • Mark the calendar for a date with mom.
  • Pick your favorite place that slows life down.
