Quick and Easy Mom Hacks
Inside: Quick and easy mom hacks for toddlers and organization
Raise your hand if you have ever tripped over a puzzle piece?
How about listened to endless begging for more TV?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, I have you covered.
I compiled some of my best mom hacks that are quick and easy to implement.
Hacks are genius ways to organize your mom life and reduce tantrums without breaking the bank.
In fact, they are so simple that you can get set up today using items you probably already own.
Here they are in no particular order because personally, I could not decide which one helps me the most.
Take a quick picture to sort puzzle pieces into storage bins. Read more here.
Storing Art Supplies:
Again, I find it super helpful to take a picture of what you want to store. Your preschooler will be able to better understand where each item belongs.
Last weekend we attended a very large festival with our 3 children. When I arrived, I realized we needed a game plan in case someone wondered off.
I showed my preschoolers that I was writing the word MOM and added my phone number. I asked each one to place it in their pocket and give it to someone in case they cannot find us.
Reducing Television Time:
Need a quick way to reinforce what time your preschooler gets to watch a show? Simply add the hour above the oven clock. Refer back to it as needed.
Say, "Remember, we watch tv when it is 2:00. You can see right here where the two will be. What number do you see now?"
Calming the Morning Routine:
Days with Grey has one family motto to sanity before coffee.
Say it with me. "BREAKFAST INVITATIONS ARE THE SOLUTION TO CALMNESS".
These quick and easy set ups take less than 5 minutes to create and you can read more about them here.
And remember when I said I couldn't pick a favorite?
I realized I was wrong. "Shirtpants" will go down as my number one MOM HACK of all time.
